Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?
Have you ever considered how many French words have slipped into our everyday language? I’m pretty sure that, at least once in your life, or as a joke, you have asked somebody, ‘Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?’ But this French phrase is perhaps the least romantic, as it is far too candid and overdone. There are others that have somehow found their way into the English language. If you work in the realm of love and have to talk to your clients in English on a daily basis, then you have to learn these French loanwords, just like I did. Shall I tell you which one is my favourite? Well, all right, but you have to keep it secret (laughter). It’s the French phrase ‘l’appel du vide’. This translates to that feeling that makes you want to do something that is inexplicable, dangerous, or extraordinary. Surely, you have also done something like that, something daring, or even crazy. Sometimes it is exactly this feeling that leads my dear clients to me … that wish to do something bold together. How about you, would you dare to do that? If you have ever experienced something similar, don’t hesitate and give me a ring as soon as possible. Together we will try something new and see where our limits are.
